Well, at last the listing activity locally has really begun to ramp up in earnest. The last couple of weeks have been very active and we are seeing much more resale product coming to the market.

Despite this though, our market remains largely buyer driven, with over 80% of our transactions selling for at (some) or below (most) the asking price. Yes, we do see some big numbers at or even over ask, but this is much less common and is typical of unique or really special property (in most cases).

Prices continue to correct, especially in the condo market and it remains an excellent time to buy here in Squamish, where you will almost certainly have the upper hand when negotiating your purchase.
