We are midway through the typical summer slowdown, and conditions in the Squamish market remain favourable for the buying side of the table. Patient buyers are looking carefully and choosing well, while sellers are (mostly) making good decisions and getting deals done.

Market conditions point towards continued correcting, but as always, if the right property presents itself, I don’t recommend waiting. Make your offer and get ready to make your move. If you’re selling, I suggest you pay very close attention to the downward pricing trend and get your deal done as quickly and comfortably as you’re able.

Buying and/or selling can be an emotional experience, and understandably so. But if you can remove the emotion and focus on the business of a successful transaction you’re more likely to wrap up sooner and be part of a win/win agreement.
