Wow, summer is flying by. As usual, we are enjoying the outdoor experience, with tons of mountain biking, paddle boarding, loads of time in the forest, quick trips to the island, and showing our visitors around.

Life is Squamish is such a pleasure, and even the bit of recent fire smoke haze (unusual) doesn’t seem to have slowed anyone down. We are fortunate here to have very few hazy days and are reminded of the challenges faced by many residents in at risk BC communities. Living on the WUI is a conscious choice for those of us who prefer an outdoor focused lifestyle, but there is always a risk of wildfire, and thankfully most residents are very careful and aware.

Get outside and play, and let’s be sure to keep it green out there!
