Looking Ahead

My expectations for the Squamish market remain positive, in that I am expecting the established trend of being buyer driven and more balanced to continue. This of course means continued price correction but is by no means bad news for sellers – provided that they didn’t enter the market here during the ridiculously unsustainable 2020-2022 years.

If you’re shopping now, conditions are in your favour across all segments of our market and we are seeing buyers taking a firm stand on their offered price, with sellers having to be more flexible in order to reach an agreement.

If you’re selling, have no fear, just price properly and be prepared to negotiate. If you’re reasonable with your asks, you’ll sell. This is definitely not the time to dip your toe in the water to see what bites.

For the most part, real estate transactions can be win-win. Be fair and reasonable no matter what side of the table you’re on and you should come out the other end with a smile on your face!
